hCaptcha

hCaptcha is a variation of CAPTCHA that stands for 'human-generated CAPTCHA'. It is designed to differentiate between humans and bots by requiring users to perform certain tasks that are easy for humans but difficult for automated scripts.

It typically involves tasks such as identifying objects in images, transcribing text from images, or solving simple puzzles. These tasks help websites protect against automated attacks while also contributing to the training and improvement of machine learning models.

hCAPTCHA is an alternative to traditional text-based CAPTCHAs and aims to provide a more user-friendly and accessible experience. It helps ensure the security and integrity of online platforms by verifying human users while preventing malicious bots from accessing or abusing website functionalities.

hCaptcha troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with hCaptcha, start by checking for error messages within the widget. The most common issue is incorrect credentials. If the key is incorrect, the widget should display a message indicating the error.

If the hCaptcha widget is missing from all pages or you experience other issues, such as a failed hCaptcha test, please contact WebSell Support for further assistance.
