Next Gen Carousel Builder

Carousels on Next Gen templates come with a new set of settings, allowing you faster, easier and better customization.

Here is the new list of settings, and we will explain them in details below:

Title:

In product carousels: always displayed above the products list. If a carousel is based on a rule, the name will also be a link to the filtered search results containing all items matching your criteria.

In image carousels: not displayed by default (but can be with a new setting)

🆕 Subtitle:

If exists, it will display under the Carousel Title.

🆕 Show title:

(setting applies only to Image carousels)

If enabled, it will display the Carousel Title above the images.

🆕 Display type:

Allows for switching the display of the carousel.

Default: Slider
Available options: Slider, Grid, Email

Slider: renders as a carousel (typical behavior)
Grid: renders as a "grid" — not a slider, with items dropping into next line if there is more of them
Email: renders an email-safe, table-based markup, ready to be placed in your WebStore email template

Ratio:

(setting applies only to image carousels)

Sets a uniform size for all the pictures within the carousel.

 Accepted values:

  • 1-1 means square
    Universal and easy to maintain
  • 2-1 means 2 times wider than taller (for example 1000x500)
    Great for container-wide promotional banners
  • 3-1 means 3 times wider than taller (for example 1500x500)
    Great for container-wide promotional banners
  • 4-1 means 4 times wider than taller (for example 2000x500)
    Great for full-screen-wide promotional banners
  • 2-3 means 1.5 times taller than wider (for example 200x300)
Great for book covers and portrait banners

🆕 Style:

(setting applies only to image carousels)

Try different styles for your carousels and captions.

Default: text on the image, centered

Circle: text on the image, centered, but the image cropped to a circle

Boxes: caption under the image

Showcase: text on the left side, image on the right
